Warner Bros. Pictures is in the works of yet another widely-anticipated horror film ‘Doctor Sleep’ that is sure to churn our guts and make us cringe throughout the movie. Yes, they are that good.
Doctor Sleep is an upcoming horror film based on Stephen King’s novel with the same name and published in 2013. With Stephen King’s mark on the horror territory for both the novels and its film adaptations, Doctor Sleep will indubitably make us lose sleep for a few nights. The film is a sequel to King’s 1977 novel The Shining and the movie adaptation in 1980.
The movie follows the life of Danny Torrance, a man who has psychic abilities and is struggling with alcoholism. Danny Torrance will be played by the versatile and brilliant Scottish actor, Ewan McGregor. His wide list of film portfolio, both lead and supporting actors, such as Trainspotting (1996), Moulin Rouge! (2001), and Christopher Robin (2018) gives us a preview of his capabilities as an artist and the character that he will bring to the film. Doctor Sleep is set for release in theaters on January 24, 2020.
