Ezra Miller plays Credence Barebone in the upcoming fantasy film Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald written by J.K. Rowling, whose story started out as the abused adopted child of muggle Mary-Lou Barebone who has now complete control over his Obscurus: A dark, parasitic force manifested when a magical child’s powers are repressed due to physical or psychological abuse.

In the prequel film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, he brought havoc to New York City with his Obscurus causing wide-spread distruction; only to be stopped by the MACUSA officials with a glimpse and fragment of the Obscurus entity escaping.

No wonder Ezra Miller wore his inner Credence Barebone during the Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald premiere in Paris this week wearing a puffy, black ensemble:

 

Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald will officially premiere on Friday, November 16. Directed by David Yates, it has an ensemble cast with Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Zoë Kravitz, Callum Turner, Claudia Kim, William Nadylam, Kevin Guthrie, Jude Law, and Johnny Depp.
