Of course, the cast of the Guardians of the Galaxy can’t help but put their two cents on the matter. Most of them took to Twitter to express their stand.

Chris Pratt, who plays the lead role Star-Lord, tweeted: “Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters. Let every person be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger.’ JAMES 1:19″

Gamora’s actor, Zoe Saldana, also said, “It’s been a challenging weekend I’m not gonna lie. I’m pausing myself to take everything in before I speak out of term. I just want everyone to know I love ALL members of my GOTG family. Always will.”

Michael Rooker, known as Yondu on GOTG, left Twitter after leaving his thoughts on Gunn’s termination. “This account will be inactive after today,” he wrote. “We’re very tired & upset over the ongoing BULLS–T… neither I nor my rep will use Twitter again. Twitter sucks and I want nothing to do with it. Thank you to all who gave kind words & support. See you on Instagram.”

Playing Drax, wrestler-turned-actor Dave Bautista sent a couple of tweets expressing his positive impression of the director as well as his frustration on the matter. “I will have more to say but for right now all I will say is this..@JamesGunn is one of the most loving, caring, good natured people I have ever met. He’s gentle and kind and cares deeply for people and animals. He’s made mistakes. We all have. Im NOT ok with what’s happening to him.”

Pom Klementieff also shared on Twitter, “We are Groot. We are a family. We stand together.”

Sean Gunn, James Gunn’s younger brother who plays the role of Kraglin in GOTG, sent a lengthy message. He wrote in part, “Working on those movies made my brother a better person, and they made me one too. I’m proud of that. Peace.”
