The film talks about following the Christmas tradition of being with family on Christmas Eve, gathered around the dinner table, sharing stories and jokes. That is, until something goes horribly wrong. When someone spiked the punch with Sodium Pentothal—a military-grade pharmaceutical drug—everyone on the table started feeling a little hot.

And that was just the beginning.

When you wish your aunts would just stop badgering you about your life choices, then actually badger them to death instead. Or wish your noisy, annoying cousins would just shut up for five minutes. How about instead of having roasted chicken, you would rather put the knife that hits your aggravating uncle’s neck instead.
