We all have our fair share of excitement as ABC renews Agent of SHIELD for a sixth and seventh season and Season 6 will be on the camera roll starting February 2019.

Agents of SHIELD Season 6 cast: Who’s coming back?

It’s safe to say that Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) won’t be the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D in the next season or if there’ll be another miracle and Coulson will survive another death. Do you recall how many times Coulson have died, almost died or had his right hand (literal hand) replaced? No big deal, right? Death is a humdrum in SHIELD anyway. But Coulson being in or out of the next season is always worth the tackle.

“That being said, our show is founded on a man who had been killed in the movies, and Clark Gregg is the foundation upon which our show is built”, Jed Whedon, AOS writer and director, commented in an interview. So, we’ll rest this case saying that Coulson will be in next season but most probably on flashbacks or a retro narrative.

Agent Mack (Henry Simmons)  who has ever been the “strong man” *slash* moral compass of the team will most likely be the next Director. And we are excited to see him. From a mechanic to Fitz’s tech partner, to an unstoppable field agent and a strategist. Mack has proved worthy to be the next director. Even assigned multiple times as temporary director in the previous season has qualified Mack further for the seat(or spot)

Daisy (Chloe Bennet), Agent May (Ming Na Wen), Yo-yo (Natalia Cordova), and the inseparable Fitz and Simmons (Iain De Caestecker & Elizabeth Henstridge) will surely be in Season 6. We know there’ll be additional cast yet we all can be excited about it. We don’t know what the Whedon’s put up for the next season, but there’s no way they should mess with our expectations.
