A compilation of poems written for over 23 years, I Am Every Woman And So Are You speaks about every aspect of life: family, mental illness, religion, politics, social issues, racism, children, terrorism, love, and school. This poetic collection encapsulates everything that I’m passionate about and some random thoughts that will interest you.
Readers who enjoy poetry will find this book a treasure trove. It is from the perspective of an individual who is observant, non-judgmental and discerning. I Am Every Woman And So Are You offers a sincere and an empathetic view to humanity. The energies that I get from different people, especially when they begin to open up and comfortably express to me about somethings going on in their lives made me pen to words into a book. These stories and similar experiences are tales we can relate to or connect and uplift one another. I know these stories will inspire you the way it inspired me.
The book is similar to other compilations of books of poetry because like other poets, I’m able to vividly and with a vast and graphic imagination convey in writing exactly what I desire to express. Like storytellers do. I believe that poets have the ability to clearly paint a picture of a scene, situation or circumstances without using so many words. The reader is able to get the gist or understanding of the piece without so many complicated terms or words. Readers should buy the book because we are all connected, no matter what race or color, no matter what demographic, no matter what age, no matter what economic background. If you are alive and make a conscious choice to function in this world, on our journey through life, we can all relate to one another if we try.
The book titled “You Have Famous Artist In Your Home” stems from compiling art projects that my children and neighbors children in my community
