Regina Hall is about to learn a very important life lesson in life: be good to people unless you want karma to hit you back. With the tagline of “Little Secret, Big Problem”, the plot of Little tells the story of Jordan Sanders, played by Hall, who is the unreasonable, tyrannical CEO of a tech company. Issa Rae plays the role of Jordan’s tormented assistant, April. Karmic justice is served when a magical child cast a spell on Jordan, transforming her back into a teenager version of herself.

The film is basically the black version of the 2009 movie 17 Again that starred Matthew Perry and Zac Efron. However, Efron’s 17 Again focused more on making things right with one’s family. On the other hand, the plot of Little will highly likely focus on the dynamics between April and young Jordan.

Tina Gordon sits on the directorial chair for this film. The ensemble cast features versatile actors Justin Hartley, Marsai Martin, Tone Bell, JD McCrary, Caleb Emery, Noree Victoria, and a whole lot more. It is also an amazing tidbit to know that then-14-year-old Marsai Martin herself pitch the storyline for this film. The film will screen in theaters nationwide this April 12, 2019.

This film, which also has the same similarity as the 13 Going 30 film, already dropped its trailer online. Check Little’s official trailer with the video below:
