Who better to give you a good scare from horror flicks than Stephen King? That’s right. Another Stephen King novel is about to hit the big screen on April 5, 2019. Pet Sematary, which is set to be the second adaptation after the 1989 movie, is going to creep you out and make the hairs at the back of your neck stand on end. But first, let’s take a look at their awesome and talented artists making up the Pet Sematary cast.

John Lithgow appears in the film. You know him from Pitch Perfect 3 as Fat Amy’s estranged father. He has also lent his voice for Lord Farquaad in the animated film Shrek. Apart from those box office films, Lithgow has a long list in his portfolio, starring in a wide variety of roles. He will play the role of Jud Crandall in Pet Sematary, the Creed family’s elderly neighbor.

Jason Clarke is the father of the family, he plays the character of Louis Creed. You know him from the films Everest (2015) as Rob Hall and Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes (2014) as Malcolm.

Amy Seimetz is Rachel Creed, the mother of the family Creed. Amy has acting credits in the film, Upstream Color (2013). Aside from that, she also has quite an extensive list of other films and television series appearances over the years.

The Creed children, who have given us a creepy preview in the trailer are: Jeté Laurence, this talented girl, will play the daughter of the Creed family, Ellie Creed. She was part of the films The Snowman (2017) as Josephine Becker and The Americans (2015) as the young Paige. Hugo Lavoie and Lucas Lavoie, these tiny gentlemen take up the role of Gage Creed, the youngest in the family.

The four Creeds move into their new home and a new nightmare unfolds in the Pet Sematary where it may not all be as it seems and where evil lurks.
