December 6, 2018 – Golden Globe announces its nominees for the 76th Golden Globe Awards Ceremony.

The panel of judges is considering a few films, including Adam McKay’s “Vice”. After a round of discussion, “Vice” earns six nods from them. Having six nominations is already an achievement. After all, no other film in the running has achieved the same. With these nominations, Vice trumps over films such as “If Beale Street Could Talk”, “Mary Poppins Returns”, “A Star Is Born”, and “Black Panther”.

The film didn’t only receive nominations from the Golden Globe. “Vice” is also a recipient of eight Academy Awards and six British Academy Film Awards nominations.

“Vice” is a biographical comedy-drama film depicting the life of the most powerful VP in the history of the United States. For this movie, Christian Bale takes the lead role of former Vice President Richard Bruce Cheney. Amy Adams, Sam Rockwell, Lily Rabe, Alison Pill, and Steve Carell play important roles in the film too.
