Milo Ventimigilia, lead actor of the hit NBC family drama series, This Is Us, graces the big screen as the leading man of no other than pop idol Jennifer Lopez in her latest comedy, chick flick Second Act.
J. Lo, who has had her fair share of box office hits in the romantic comedy genre, such as The Wedding Planner and Maid In Manhattan, returns to the silver screen as a 40-year-old woman named Maya whose lived most her life working on low-paying jobs. That is, until she got a chance to fulfill her dreams to work in a corporate world after getting hired from a fake resume and made up a fake Facebook page.
Milo Ventimigilia played the role of Trey, Maya’s boyfriend. Milo shared receiving a phone call from J. Lo’s camp telling him the pop idol “really wants him, and does not want anybody else” for the character of Trey. Incidentally, J. Lo’s warm and welcoming personality brought natural chemistry between both stars that led to a $52 million gross of the film worldwide.
Although not everyone is convinced of the storyline, overall the movie is a fun and light movie to watch when you want to feel good or you need a little confidence boost.
